The info in this book is a great tutorial for newbies like myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and continue to use it. I also recommend her online cheesemaking course. It's a lot of fun and she's available to help give advice along the way. I continue to make the cheeses I've learned from Corina, and am so thrilled each time that I'm actually doing it and it takes great as well. Corina thank you for empowering me to make artisan cheeses!
If you have ever wanted to learn how to make cheese, look no further. Corina's book gives excellent step-by-step instructions, along with wonderful photo illustrations. I was a rank amateur, but by following these methods, I learned so much, and even had success on my first try. Corina's troubleshooting tips are also incredibly helpful. Buy this very reasonable book, and prepare to learn from the master. You won't be sorry.
Excellent instructions for making Gouda from fresh or store-bought milk. I've made several batches prior, but still gained some good pointers that will improve my future batches. Links to helpful videos are embedded in the book, and those are worth the price on their own.
I also took the online course from Corina. The book is the same great quality. I never thought I could make cheese. Oh, sure, I knew how to make Paneer Cheese and Greek Yogurt but the semi-soft cheeses like Chevre and Farmer's Cheese just seemed beyond me. Don't even talk about hard cheeses like Gouda. However, all that changed when I decided to let Corina take me under her wing and in no time flat I am a cheesemaker of the most delicious cheeses. Now I'm all excited about making any kind of cheese. I have no fear. And I owe it all to Corina's great instructions. Two thumbs up!
If you have ever wanted to make your own cheese and felt that it was to difficult. I felt that way until I tried this by Cornia. She has made it so easy to understand her instructions and where to get the products. Her video is great as you see her making cheese in her own kitchen. Which really makes you believe you can do it too. So I tried and followed step by step and to my amazement my cheese turned out and I was even impressed with myself. I have shared my cheese with my family and friends. They were impressed and said you made this! So that was my true test because your family and friends a least mine will tell me the truth. I give this book 5 stars because you to can make Great cheese if you use this book. I now make Great cheese because of Cornia's book. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed at all. Best ever!
